to empower lives of ministry

Identifying practioners
Individuals that are already doing the ministry before they are supported. This is not for new ventures, rather they need to have already invested and sacrificed of themselves as a signal that they will continue in the work as they are supported.
The model is based on we-find-you. Initial contacts are to be made through know networks or multiple mission sending agencies in multiple counties that already have the relational capital to recommend gospel practitioners. This is not something that people can apply for. Individuals that are under an accountability structure such as a church or larger missional organization structure, will be given preference.
Training
The onboarding process will include signing a commitment to gospel work and their own defined related objectives, outcomes, and actives that build to this. There will also be training on the crypto ecosystem about such things as how to set up wallets, how to access funds, how to keep wallets secure, and the time value of money. There will also be training on staking and investment ladders. Note that this training is not financial advice.
Crypto Allocation
Funds to support an individual are to be split into thirds for long term savings, living costs and ministry costs.
Living Costs are for personal living expenses. Initially this will be set at around $500 per month depending on crypto currency fluctuations. This amount is more than a teacher’s or nurse’s salary in many countries within the 10/40 window.
Savings are matched to the annual salary and paid into a separate specific wallet at the start of the year.
Savings non-withdrawal rule (NWR)
This is the key - Savings are not to be withdrawn from that wallet. Should the savings be drawn out of the designated wallet, all support will end at the end of that year commitment.
Year 2 onward, following Committee Review and no saving withdrawal depended. At the start of the second year, a third of their annual support is placed in an individuals designated crypto savings wallet. This joins the first year’s savings under the NWR. Likewise at the end of each successive year, to receive money for the following year the savings from the prior years needs to be in the savings wallet.
This is the aim – that a base is grown. At the end of 5 or 7 years an individual has enough funds well invested and growing and they understand how crypto works so that they are financially free to continue with a life time of ministry.
The focus of this project is on the 10/40 window and funding distribution is to reflect that. Because we believe in broader partnerships it will not be exclusively focused on the 10/40 window.
Crypto distribution
70% of funds received will be given to missionaries working in the 10/40 Window.
20% to locals working in Africa in disadvantaged communities
10% to admin – the reality of life – advertising, websites, managing costs.
